Courtney, Connor and LucaThis year, Tyson actually had the day off of work so we decided to make the most of it and do the hike at Torrey Pines! This is a hike that we have never done in all the 8 years of living here and it is only 5 minutes away! And any hike with an ocean view is the hike for me. We met our good friends, the Chaparros, at the top of the trail and made the hike all the way down to the beach. Then we had to make our way back up. Owen was throwing a fit almost the whole way and Dad had to carry him up while kicking and screaming. The other kids had a great time. When we got home, I barbecued some baby back ribs (which I must say turned out delicious) and watched the kids have a blast in the baby pool. Yeah for holidays and days off of work!

Cute pictures Britt - my favorite is the one of all the kids in the cave. Looks like you guys had a fun time. I'll have to try out that hike... how long was it? My kids are still looking forward to getting together after next week!
